Introduction - Concept of the tours

All tours are composed by visits to wine estates. The guide and owner of the company (Fábio) is expertized in wine. While watching the vineyards, the cellars and doing tastings will have an enriching experience in a very relaxed, flexible and informal way, learning about the world of wine and the process of winemaking, namely aspects like:

• Selection and cultivation of grapes, viticulture, conditions of production (terroir), grapes processing, vinification, stage of wine, the role of the wood and the blending process.
• Organization of a winery, the history and current panorama of wine in Portugal and in the region, functioning of the market, organization of the wine business and certification standards.
• Concepts involved in wine degustation, by learning the tasting techniques and understanding how to analyze the flavours of a wine.
